Michael Babin began his professional career in 2012 as a legal extern with the Ohio Senate Majority Caucus Legal Counsel, where he researched and analyzed potential legislative issues for the Caucus during his second year of law school. It was there where he first cultivated his desire to dedicate his career to serving the state of Ohio.
He was admitted to the Ohio bar in November 2013 and joined the firm in March of 2016, working closely with Andrew D. Bowers as Special Counsel for the Ohio Attorney General, representing various state agencies in addition to litigating matters for other clients.
Prior to joining Andy Bowers & Associates, Michael worked for two years at an energy brokerage firm, focusing on landowner property rights and leasing. He is licensed to practice before all Ohio state courts and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
Growing up in Medina, Ohio, Michael graduated from St. Vincent – St. Mary High School before playing baseball at the collegiate level for Cleveland State University and Ohio University. He first moved to Columbus in the summer of 2010, and plans to call the area home for many years to come. In his free time, he still enjoys playing baseball in a local organized league as well as volunteering for various campaign races.
